OUR STORY

Osborn Transportation was established in January 1970 by Jack Osborn. In those days, Osborn focused on dry van, refrigerated and not exactly load shipments while working in each of the 48 adjacent states. After the Deregulation Act of 1980 was passed, the choice was made to work as a full load transporter as it were. This choice laid the basis for the organization we have today.

During the 1980s and ’90s, Osborn essentially adjusted the tire business with 90% of income coming from all significant tire producers in the United States. In 2001, Osborn was conceded its first significant agreement inside the car business. Around then, significant automobile makers had begun to assemble plants in Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee and Mississippi.

Somewhat recently we have focused increasingly more on load benefits in and around the Southeast just as more limited take neighborhood activities.

In December 2013, Osborn was obtained by Celadon Trucking Services out of Indianapolis, IN. Since that time, we have expanded our ability to in excess of 600 farm vehicles and 1,300 trailers and work 4 significant divisions: Dedicated, Southeast Regional, Over the Road, and Local. These divisions run in most significant business sectors around the country.
